Alessandro Rosso Group, the largest European Group in the Events, Meetings,Incentive Industry, Conventions and Medical Congresses with a staff of over 250 professionals and 20 companies worldwide celebrated the opening of its first office in China through a series of events in Beijing (7th May) and Shanghai (8th and 9th May).
The Shanghai official launch was hosted at M1NT Club, one of the most glamorous members-only clubs in Shanghai, at the presence of the Shanghai International Conference Management Organization (SICMO) and high representatives of the European Diplomatic Community. The Group, which organizes events and incentive travels throughout Europe and Asia is the only International Group based on a made in Italy and on a luxury concept.
Mr Alessandro Rosso, Founder and Chairman of the Group inaugurated the ceremony. "I'm honored to be here in China with great people and great managers. Maybe in a past life I was Chinese too", he declared in his opening remarks. As a child prodigy of Franco Rosso, Italy's legendary Tour Operator, the passion for travel is deeply engraved in his DNA: "My favorite story has always been the one about Marco Polo and his passion to discover the world. My family name is ROSSO, like the colour RED, the colour of passion. And in China it's also the colour of good luck and success. To me China is the largest market worldwide and a big value for Europe hence I would like to build a bridge between China and Europe".
Alessandro Rosso Group opens its first office in China through a partnership with The Blenders Communications, one of the leading European MICE agencies in China. The office is located in central of Shanghai but another one in Beijing will open soon. As we can see from the large number of Chinese Outbound Travellers every year, Europe is a first-choice destination for Chinese outbound travellers" commented Mr Patrick Chen, Director of SICMO.
This positive trend is confirmed by Dr Ioana Kraft, General Manager of the European Chamber of Commerce in China in Shanghai: "Many Chinese people want to visit Europe, appreciate its History and Art, and enjoy the well-known luxury brands thus a pan-European incentive professionals that are increasingly needed by the market".
Strategically headquartered in Milan, the Group aims to be the first choice partner for Chinese incentive tours to the city's World Expo in 2015. Despite its unmistakably Italian pedigree however, Alessandro Rosso Group owns Destination Management Companies in major European Countries such as: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and has already started to work in partnership with major Chinese Outbound Tour Operators for the organization of Chinese incentive groups to these countries.
