The 5-day event witnessed over 10,644 exhibitors from 187 countries presenting themselves to 113,006 trade visitors and to a total of more than 170,000 visitors.
"The ITB Berlin is the biggest and most effective exhibition for the travel industry that covers the greatest brands and supports all hospitality related activities which gave us and all other exhibitors an excellent opportunity to meet business partners and to accomplish deals." says Eng. According to Lars Geweyer, the Resorts General Manager, the ITB further gave the opportunity to address recent happenings, such as the achievement of several awards from HolidayCheck and numerous tour operators for significant operational performance during 2011/2012 at the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel in addition to the renowned Green Globe certificate. He further states that "it was with great success that the 5-stars deluxe hotel is ahead of its competitors and gained a considerable strategic positioning across the region."
With Egypt having been the official partner county this year, the destination gained confidence of the international travel industry, while trade visitors and the public alike provided support to the Egyptian tourism and showed themselves excited about the great services this resort on the West Coast of the Red Sea has to offer, and trade partners very much looking forward to the coming season with the resorts exceptional hospitality towards its guests.
