We will enjoy an early morning walk in the park; getting out on foot is the best way to appreciate all aspects of the wilderness at Kasanka. It will give you a chance to see the small things as well the more obvious! Follow a Honey Guide to a Bee’s nest or track an Elephant along its spore. We will return to the lodge and enjoy breakfast before we embark on a game drive exploring the variety of wildlife.

Day 4/5: Kapishya Hot Springs
We will continue to Shiwa Nga’ndu with a stop at Kundalila Falls for a spectacular view of one of the wonders of Zambia. The Kapishya hot springs are an exquisite natural hot spring surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and tall raffia palms, the hot water bubbles out from the white sands of a crystal clear pool and flows into the Manshya River. Day 6/7 North Luangwa National Park
We will continue towards the North Luangwa National Park. This remote tract of land covering 4636 square kilometres offers one of the finest wilderness experiences in Zambia, if not Africa itself. It is not open to the public and there are no permanent lodges are very few roads and you’re unlikely to see anyone else for the duration of your trip. The beauty of visiting this park is the truly remarkable opportunities to experience Africa as it was. It is wild and untouched and you are simply an unobtrusive witness to its natural beauty and drama. The park is noted for its massive herds of buffalo, a spectacular sight if they’re seen on the run, kicking up dust for miles behind them. Large prides of lion inhabit the territory and it is not uncommon to witness a kill.
