Ol Donyo Sabuk National Park
Situated about one hour's drive from Nairobi is
this park atop a mountain that is better known as Mount Kilimambogo,
next to Fourteen Falls in Thika.
On June 21st the park was branded with the buffalo
image, since this is the signature animal found there.
Lush forests, birdsong galore, and fantastic
panoramas from atop its peak are part of the attraction in this cool
clear mountain air. Perfect for a day trip because of its distance,
and accessibility most of the way on tarmac road.

Please note:
- The park is well secured by KWS rangers.
However Fourteen Falls, which is outside the park fences,
has gathered a reputation for muggers so be careful-
preferably travel in groups.
