The Obama Route , cultural tour
Day 1
Upon arrival met and transferred to Nairobi Hilton/Sarova Panafric/Comfort Hotel for overnight stay. (BB)
Day 2
Depart for Kisumu to arrive at Imperial Hotel for lunch there afterwards have a rest.
Day 3
After breakfast depart for Kogelo village for a tour to the US presidents’ fathers birthplace to return to Kisumu town for lunch there afterwards proceed for a boat ride and a fishing trip at the lake. Later return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
After breakfast depart for Masai Mara to arrive Mara Sopa Lodge or Sentrim Mara Camp for lunch. After a short rest proceed for afternoon game drive returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5
After an early breakfast, Pick up lunch boxes then proceed for a full day game drive which will take you to the mara river where you will have your lunches then later with your game drive returning later to your Lodge/Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
During your game drives at the mara you will be looking for the big five family and the others animals, if you are lucky you might encounter either the cheetah or the lion hunting. Masai mara has a wide variety of game, the scenery and it a bird watchers paradise.
Day 6
After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive Sarova Lion Hill Lodge/Flamingo Hill Camp in time for lunch there afterwards proceed for afternoon game drive taking you to the Baboon cliff and the Lake for encouter with the flamingoes and the white rhinos, returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7
After breakfast depart for Lake Naivasha for a boat ride to take a good view of the hippos and explore the bird life there during which you will be able to see the Fish Eagles, Comorats king fishers among other bird species. Later proceed to Nairobi to arrive Carnivore restaurant in time for lunch later transfer to JKI Airport for your onward flight.
