London鈥檚 Natural History Museum

One of my favorite museums in London is the Natural History Museum. If you want to get there from Equity Point London Hostel, there鈥檚 a 20 minute pleasant walk across Hyde Park.

The Natural History museum in London has over 70 million items distributed in collections about Botany, Entomology, Mineralogy, Paleontology and Zoology. But obviously the museum is famous for the incredible amount of dinosaur skeletons. As soon as you get into the building, which is an incredible 1881 creation of Alfred Waterhouse, you get trapped by the magnificent Diplodocus that presides the hall. How hostels business party

Last Saturday the 5th of June the Equity Point Hostel in London became officially a reality. The hostel has been opened since last March, but the official opening was on the 5th of June. The rendezvous was at 5 o鈥檆lock and we welcomed our guests with a glass of Catalan cava. It was a great pleasure to see that some of our colleagues from other hostels, suppliers, and friends were there to share with us this great moment. Before starting with the speeches, our guests had the opportunity to visit the rooms and the common areas of the building. They all said they were impressed

The Deputy Ambassador of Spain in the UK, the landlord of the building, Mr Gareh and our CEO, Oriol Badia took care of the speeches and to officially welcome everybody. Once the serious part was over, Equity Point offered a casual dinner with a mixture of English and Catalan food like p脿 amb tomata, Queso Manchego, and jam贸n ib茅rico. Read the rest of this entry »
