As pioneers of the 4 day Luangwa Valley Safaris from Malawi, there's a guarantee that all game drives take place in open game viewing vehicles. Transport to and from the park is made in comfort using Land Rover Defenders, Toyota Land Cruisers or our Iveco Mini bus. Delicious picnic sandwiches and rolls are provided en route to the park. Accommodation is in a Lodge with 2 people sharing an en suite chalet. There is a swimming pool and satellite TV and videos available.

Land & Lake also operate a guest houses in a forest reserve – on the Malawi/Mozambique border (Dzalanyama Forest Reserve) about 2 hours from Lilongwe. The lodge is affordable, comfortable, safe and secluded. Mountain bikes are available for hire directly at each lodge, walking trails are laid out or you can sit and relax in the peaceful serenity of the area.

Land & Lake also have two new lodges. The first is Thornicroft Lodge in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park – offering comfort at an affordable price in one of Africa’s prime game viewing locations. The second is The Sanctuary Lodge, in the Lilongwe Nature Sanctuary in the heart of the city.
