Safari Beach Lodge, our lodge in Malawi, is situated inside the Senga Bay Forest Reserve on the shore of Lake Malawi. Located just a one and half hour’s drive from Lilongwe, and with our own private beach, it is the ideal place to relax at the lakeside. Being inside the forest reserve, it is a paradise for bird watching. All kind of small animals can also be easily seen, e.g: monkeys, genet cats, hyrax and small antelopes.

You can easily go for a swim, paddle in a canoe or go snorkelling. Sitting on our private beach you will have a beautiful view of the bay with its spectacular sunsets and its local fishermen in their wooden dugout canoes.

You can choose to stay in one of our six secluded, comfortable gazebos (chalets), with their own private verandas that overlook the lake from above, or in one of our four comfortable double rooms with TV and air condition. Each of the gazebos and the rooms has its own private bathroom, electricity and warm water.

We offer a wide range of activities like snorkeling, canoeing, boat and hiking trips, cultural experience etc. You’ll just feel comfortable and relaxed with our excellent service, our restaurant with its international menu, the possibility of enjoying a drink at our private beach or at the pool.
