The only luxury hotel in Kigoma, situated on an outcrop hill amid a lush
green natural landscape and gardens, overlooking the crystal clear blue waters
of Lake Tanganyika and the majestic mountains of Congo. Approximately 20 minutes
drive from the airport, the hotel consists of thirty cottages, decorated in an
old world colonial style, each with a balcony that affords breathtaking views of
the lake and remarkable sunsets. All rooms have a/c, en suite bathrooms, hot and
cold running water, satellite television and refrigerators.
More than just a
point of relaxation during your tour, Kigoma Hilltop Hotel has a host of
facilities to ensure you make the most of your leisure time. There is an
abundance of bird life within the premises such as the Red Necked Spur fowl, the
Helmeted Guinea Fowl and the African Fish Eagle. Vervet monkeys are also seen in
and around the hotel area. We have a spectacular flower shaped swimming pool
facing the lake, a well-equipped gym, tennis courts, table tennis, pool table
and a private beach.

An uninterrupted cacophony of beetles, crickets and birds and the calls of Chimpanzees in the forest accompany your stay at Nkungwe.
The camp is situated between Kasiha and Sinsiba streams and is built with
comfort and luxury in mind. Whether relaxing in the lavishly furnished lounge,
or on a Lazy (Uvivu) chair overlooking the lake, Nkungwe Camp is the perfect
place to wind down and reflect on the wonders of your day. A simple stretch on
our cushioned beds on the beach with a good book while contemplating your next

Sitting in the Uvivu chairs outside your tent you can view the deep blue waters of Lake Tanganyika with the orange-red sunsets outlining the Congo Mountains and silhouettes of local fishermen setting their lanterns to illuminate the lake like fireflies during the darkest of nights.
After a hard day of climbing hills tracking Chimpanzees, Gombe Tented Camp is the perfect place to wind down, be pampered and re-energised for your next adventure.
Our dining area is situated a couple of metres from the waters of the Lake Tanganyika, set on a raised wooden deck above ground. Spend the evening sitting beside a campfire on the beach, enjoying sundowners and regaling the day’s adventures.
Lake Natron is one of the many alkaline lakes of the Great African Rift Valley and situated in spectacular volcanic scenery. It is the main breeding area of the Lesser Flamingos. There are opportunities of seeing large flocks of flamingos as well as good herds of zebra, wildebeest and gazelle, making this tented camp a magnificent opportunity to experience the real Africa.

The camp is very exclusive as befits the location with just six tents, luxurious in size and furnishings and cunningly set back amongst the trees that line the floodplain, providing both shade and camouflage in the prime game viewing area of the park, where the wildlife are unaware of your presence.
The camp is small and select with personalised hosting and guiding by an experienced guide. The camp is open from June until the end of November to coincide with the dry season. 6 tents with en suite facilities - Solar lighting and power for recharging batteries - Shared mess tent - Game drives taken in open adapted 4WD vehicles.
Katavi Camp is situated in the centre of the park, on an elevated point overlooking the vast plains of Katisunga. Herds of animals coming in search of fresh grazing grounds and water provide the perfect view right from your tent. Tamarind and Acacia trees provide shade and the sunsets behind the distant woodlands surrounding the seasonal lake provide a perfect background to the stunning scenery.
The camp consists oftwelve spacious tents, where every minor detail has been addressed to ensure comfort and luxury – from sumptuous linens to international cuisine, blending in with the natural surroundings to uphold the spirit of Katavi.
