Tarangire Safari Lodge

Tarangire Safari Lodge is located on a ridge with one of the Tanzania's most spectacular panoramic views.  Relaxing on our patio you can observe a variety of
animals passing below.

Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Built blend with the vastness of its surroundings, Tarangire Sopa Lodge lies hidden among the kopjes, ancient baobab and grasses of the Tarangire National Park, home of the greatest concentration of elephants in Africa. Many can be seen around the lodge, allowing visitors a close encounter. The park is also home to most other game including the elusive leopard and over 400 bird species.

In an area of constant water, the landscape provides the wonderful comparison of burnt ground with lush greenery nearby. Staying close to the water, concentrations of game; including elephant, buffalo, zebra, lion and leopard can often be seen from the lodge balconies.

Situated approximately 140 kilometers from the town of Arusha, Tarangire Sopa Lodge provides a perfect location for short safaris or corporate and conference events, the perfect start or end to any safari, a place to relax in the sun, witness the day-to-day events of the resident animals and experience a level of attention to detail, guest comfort and service not to be found anywhere for miles around.

Tarangire Asilia Camp – Oliver’s Camp  

Is situated in the remote South-East section of the Tarangire National Park right in the park´s unspoilt wilderness zone.
The camp is ideally located to see large concentrations of elephants, cats and other animals around the stunning Silale swamps and in the trademark Baobab country of Tarangire NP. 

Only 8 tents are available to ensure the feeling of absolute exclusivity and intimacy.  The camp design and the atmosphere are that of a true classical bush experience. Solid wooden furniture, spacious tents that bring in the Tarangire landscape and fantastic interior will make you feel right at home in Africa’s most exciting bush. The tents have excellent en suite bathroom facilities which are half inside and half outside the tent. The camp crew has been a close team for many years and this clearly shows in the quality of food and the personal service from and contact with the individual staff members.

Oliver’s Camp offers great range of high quality activities: besides game drives, fantastic walking safaris and fly-camping (private light-weight camping under the Tarangire stars) inside the national park make the experience in Oliver’s Camp to be a real “deep” safari experience.

Tarangire Tree Lodge

 Astride the path of the Elephant Migration, Tarangire Treetops sits alone in a private game reserve bordering Tarangire National Park and the Maasai Steppe amid rolling, baobab-studded hills with views to Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley wall.

Treetops has a magical never-never land feel appealing to any with a sense of fun. Distinctively furnished blending natural materials and contemporary décor, the 20 tree houses provide guests with a unique safari experience.

Perched up in the Baobab and Marula trees each tree house has a large private balcony, an exotic double shower and, with a floor space of 65 square meters, some of the largest rooms in East Africa.  Encasing a vast Baobab tree the spacious and tranquil dining room, reception and lounge overlooks the swimming pool and a waterhole that sees a constant flow of visitors. With the natural beauty of the hills and dry river beds begging to be explored, guests can enjoy guided walking safaris, day or night time game drives and the enchantment of bush dining.

Kikoti Safari Camp

On a ridge overlooking Tarangire National Park, seasonal home to one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, Kikoti is a haven fit for the most discerning traveller.

From Kikoti you have an exclusive access to 35,000 acres of rolling, raw wilderness. You can explore the lush wetlands of the park from here, safe in the knowledge that every possible step has been taken to ensure your comfort and repose at Kikoti Safari Camp. With only 10 tents, you are guaranteed to enjoy a level of intimacy with the environment denied to all but the most selective traveller.

Built under the cooling shade of a grass roof, and enjoying a private veranda looking out over the Great Rift Valley, these en suite tents offer the greatest comfort in the greatest proximity to nature.
Swala Tarangire Camp

Swala camp is located within Tarangire National Park. The park’s name is derived from the Tarangire River - the park’s only source of permanent water. In the dry season this river is the lifeline, attracting much of the game.

Tarangire is noted for its elephant population and spectacular baobabs of every shape and colour. Swala camp itself is located under a canopy of Acacia tortillis, creating a beautiful setting.

Accommodation is offered in nine double tents, each attended by a personal butler and all placed to offer maximum privacy and tranquillity. Each tent has en-suite facilities.  Private balconies with comfortable furnishings extend in front of each unit.

The dining area, lounge and library are housed in the main public area, which affords spectacular views, from its wooden deck.

The camp uses inverted electrical energy.
