As part of its long term vision to connect all the SADC countries, Zambezi Airlines, on 10th March 2010 launched twice weekly flights between Lusaka and Lilongwe with onward services to Dar es Salaam. The flights will be on Wednesday and Friday, operated in code-share partnership with Air Malawi. As well as making Malawi-Zambia-Tanzania combinations much easier, the new services will also offer seamless connections with Qatar Airlines services from Tanzania to the Middle East while Zambezi’s network will offer onward connections via Lusaka to Harare, Nairobi and Johannesburg. The flights will be operated by Zambezi Airlines’s modern Boeing 737-500 series aircraft which are configured for 12 Premier Business Class and 99 Economy Class seating.

Ulendo Travel Group based in Lilongwe have been appointed as General Sales Agents for Zambezi Airlines in Malawi.
