Chelinda Lodge rests on the scenic plateau of Nyika National Park and provides a luxurious highland getaway. Fresh forest air, the scent of pine trees and grasses grant a refreshing break from city life. Beautifully appointed stone and wood chalets overlook rolling plains and montane grasslands.

A specialist chef creates scrumptious meals that can be enjoyed in the spacious main lounge or on the grand outdoor deck and a variety of activities from nature walks to game drives are available to help guests explore the park to their heart’s content.

For nature enthusiasts, a relaxing walk allows for one to closely observe many of the plateau’s birds, orchids and herds of roan antelope, eland and zebra as they graze on the plains. When night falls on the plateau, a game drive creates the opportunity to witness Nyika’s legendary leopards on a moonlight prowl (sightings are coming thick and fast at the moment). Upon returning to the Lodge, comfort, warmth and rustic elegance await guests.
